About Us

SARAH

I’d like to say I’m a veteran of the pet industry now, after serving 10 years in pet retail. I grew up surrounded by all sorts of exotic animals at an oceanarium and my dad has been training and working with animals for over fifty years – his passion certainly rubbed off a little.

Helping animals is my calling in life, specifically helping them live happier, healthier and more satisfying lives. For many years now I’ve seen dogs transformed with a little dietary advice, an enriching and stimulating toy, and encouraging dog owners to help their dogs thrive, not just survive.

Discovering hydrotherapy and all the benefits it provided was like a lightbulb moment, and I knew I had to bring it to Coffs Harbour. As soon as I heard the stories of successful recoveries, or even just maintenance rather than deterioration my conviction was solidified.

I look forward to working with anyone who has a genuine desire to help their dog live a better life.

Hannah

With nearly 20 years of small business experience and 2 years in pet retail I am excited and ready to run with this opportunity to improve the lives of dogs (and their owners) in our community.

Since I was a young child I have always loved animals. Whether it was putting fake bandages on my long-suffering Maltese terrier Brandy or the bugs I ‘rescued’ from the backyard and brought inside, I was always trying to assist. Now as an adult that passion to help animals live their best lives has led to the creation of Pawsitive Canine Health.

I am delighted to offer our therapies with the knowledge that they will benefit the canine community. I have seen first hand the improvements in my own dogs and I can’t wait to share this same experience with my clients and their owners.

Arlais

(Ar-lay) is our little snuggle bug, our land seal, and chocolate drop – also known as a Field Spaniel.

Once she knows you, she does like to smother you with snuggles, so be warned!

She is 3 years old and a show dog, although she would much prefer a customs dog career so she could put that nose to it’s best use!

Celebrity equivalent: Sophie Monk

Cleo

A dignified soul (unless it’s zoomie o’clock) who really believes she’s Cleopatra the Queen.

She is 9 years old and while she has a little heart murmur, it hasn’t slowed her down and she patrols and protects her kingdom without fail.

Unfortunately she dislikes most dogs, but humans are her favourite. She occasionally blesses her favourites with a “dally smile”.

Celebrity equivalent: Princess Anne

Mac

The kelpie cross is 12years old, not that anyone would know!

He was rescued as a young failed cattle herder.

Mac had an accident at 5years old that ended in a titanium plate fusing his carpus (wrist joint), so he is our bionic dog.

Easy going and food loving Mac is everyone’s best friend.

Celebrity Equivalent: Tom Hanks

Mumma

At 10years old Mumma the great dane cross is affectionately known as our ‘old cheese.’

She is a rescue lady who has taken her life from dumpster dog to delightful (demanding ) diva.

Mumma is a gentle giant who loves nothing more than leaning on her human slaves while they give her rubs.

Celebrity Equivalent: Betty White

Buck

At 2years old Buck the Newfoundland is the baby of the group, he’s also the biggest.

Buck is as charming and cheeky as he is handsome. Full of life and with the nickname ‘Hurricane’ Buck certainly is a force of nature. With his giant size and goofy grin Buck is accustomed to drawing a crowd. Like any true super star he takes it all in his stride and thrives in the spotlight.
